TCC Cares Church School Programs Children are invited to give their Church School offerings to support Heifer International. Heifer's mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and to care for the earth. Children are also involved in Operation Christmas Child (gift-filled shoe boxes are sent to children in desperate situations around the world) and Bridge of Hope (older Russian orphans, sponsored by Connecticut families who are interested in adoption, attend Bridge of Hope summer camp) so they can learn to give back to our community and beyond. All our classes participate in efforts to benefit these non-profit organizations. Together, we nurture the spiritual growth of our children as they learn the responsibilities of living in harmony with our neighbors and the earth.
