Rev. Matthew B. Braddock, Pastor
Rev. Matthew ("Matt") Braddock is the 40th called pastor of the Trumbull Congregational Church. He bagan his ministry here in 2004. Rev. Braddock has been pastoring churches since 1997, the year he was ordained as a Presbyterian Minister of Word and Sacrament. He brings to TCC a preaching style with a rich biblical foundation, one that seeks to challenge worshippers to apply the gospel to life and life to the gospel. He also has considerable experience developing youth programs for junior and senior high school students.

Rev. Braddock earned his Master of Divinity, with honors, in 1997 from Andover Newton Theological School, Newton Centre, MA.  In 1992, he graduated cum laude from Gordon College in Wenham, MA, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a double major in English and Biblical & Theological Studies. Rev. Braddock has completed an extensive number of continuing education programs, including "Helping Survivors of Catastrophic and Unexpected Loss" and "Systems Leadership Education." He is also certified as a Bereavement Facilitator, and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program at Hartford Seminary

Rev. Braddock lives in the Parsonage with his wife, Chris, and two children, Zoe and Nate. When he is not playing with Zoe and Nate, Pastor Matt likes to ride his bike, garden, strum his guitar, read and, most importantly, discuss sermons with "The Reverend Stanley James Braddock", ordained minister of the Universal Church of Life and family Bichon.
